               Time

Time is best healer they say.

 Many a wounds on hearts and minds are mended by Time.

I wonder how does this doctor do it?

Time said

“It is simple as your doctor does.

I just bandage it in my layers”

Count hours

24 hours ago you had a wound

 Count days

Count months

Count in years now

What are you counting?

Wound is long gone beneath my layers!  You have just memories

Is it Time to have another wound?

 “Then how come my wounds are still open, TIME GOD?” I asked.

“Kid, it is simple. You keep checking on it

Or you don’t want to heal them”

If you like them fresh, how can I heal?

When people use  and ditch me

Share their trauma and get their work done.

In the process they take part of my soul.

I  am sad as their trauma is mine now.

But I am happy as I was some use to somebody.

I wonder will they feel part of my soul

when they  use  someone else next time
